I recently attended the International Psychedelic Science conference, which alternates between being held in Denver Colorado, every other year, and then in The Netherlands. The 5-day conference featured a variety of seminars with topics related to the various psychedelic medicines, and the work of researchers from all over the world who are doing the cutting-edge research on psychedelics. Topics included use of Ketamine for Parkinson’s, phantom pain, depression, PTSD, depression, addiction, and other issues.
The information was exciting and innovative featuring speakers on the work being done predominantly with psilocybin, MDMA, and Ketamine as well as, LSD. The future of psychedelics in the mental health and medical field looks bright. Ketamine can be used as an off-label medicine, to enhance psychotherapy, or for psychedelic journeying. The others, while legal is several other states, may between 3-5 years out from legalization by the FDA.
I am including some photos and videos from the conference. Feel free to contact me with any questions, or comments.
